We visited here in ‘19 and fell in love with the quiet little villages and the lack of Americans. You seldom hear English here.
We don’t consider ourselves wine snobs, but do enjoy a glass or two occasionally 😜😎
Italy has many wine producing areas, this is one of the least known in the USA. Piedmont produces many types of wine, it’s famous for its Reds, Nebbiolo, Barbera and then Dolcetto.

The retail selling of wine is a little different here. Stores sell at retail like Albertsons, but in the grape growing and wine making areas they run things a little different.
.

Next are the Coop cantinas which sell wine made at a Coop winery owned by the wine growers themselves. Very good wine at very reasonable prices. They usually offer a limited sampling.

These large Coops buy the fruit from the growers in the area and have winemakers take over. This Coop buys from over 220 growers.

We found the Coop winery’s in France on our trip in ‘19, it’s where the locals all shop. They’ll taste anything you’d like to try! The locals bring their bottles in, fill ‘em up and away they go. Two litters , great wine €4. Delicious

Great day, fruit harvest was early this year. Most of the fruit has been picked and is in the tanks😎
We continue to do our best to help the local economy!
