Ok, it’s true, I love bakery’s. I thought I’d visit as many Boulangeries in Uzès as possible and score the baguettes 1-10.
Ok, first up, Boulangerie Artisanale (they only make artisan breads). The name is Vinnolserie.Inside the Boulangerie, around 12:00, very old school, but friendly!Baguette, one score down the center. €1.20
Score 7.7 , very good!
Boulangerie Provencale
Ok, it’s five doors down from our apartment.
Simple interior, Nothing fancy. Old school, line outside the door from the minute they open, till they close.Simple baguette 5 scores, €1 Score 8.43 Patisserie/ Boulangerie
Pipolo De La Nougatine
Modern, shining it also a Patisserie and Tea / coffee shopFantastic Patisserie’s Unfortunately, the bread is not so good €1.20
Score 6.64 reminds me of a bake off loaf at Fred Myers, very disappointing
Ok, I’m going to close this blog, my guy five doors down is by far the best bread baker. Tour guide Cindy even said, what are we wasting our Calories on this junk, when we could be enjoying the best. Case closed.
