11/27/22 Calle Larios, Malaga Spain

Greetings from beautiful Malaga, Spain

Calle Larios at night, beautiful.

Malaga is famous for its Christmas light show throughout the city. The lights run from 11/26/22-1/06/23. They are centered on Calle Larios, a main shopping area of Central Malaga. Let’s take look.

Throughout the city lights are installed for the holidays
Lights hang across the streets accessing the city.
Christmas booths are setup and people are everywhere shopping, eating, drinking. Notice the coats, 59 degrees at night. Better break out the wool coats.
Yes, those are Poinsettia trees, over eight feet tall.
Buildings are lit throughout the city.
Wow
The main boulevard, beautiful day and night.

They are huge and scattered across the city.
Entering Calle Larios, it’s packed. The lights are set to music.
Moving our way in, it’s packed.
Wow, just wow!
Here’s an image from opening night, we watched this on TV. The city was crazy.

Ok, one more day in Malaga, then a six hour drive to Valencia on Tuesday.

Can’t tell you how much we’ve enjoyed Malaga, and very easy to get around. Lots to see and do, and for a large city, inexpensive!

Who knows, we may be back😎
