Ciao Ciao from beautiful La Mora Italy

Wonderful last couple of days, short driving and walking tours of the close by villages and small city’s. Unfortunately, our air quality is still poor.

This is a fantastic museum and active viniculture center. Unfortunately, it was closed when we visited.

Ok, new day and a little brighter. Off to the close by village of Barolo. Very upscale!

We decided to walk up the very, very steep and long hill to castle Manta. New knee did fantastic! Very happy!

Fantastic castle overlooking the valley, still in use today as museum and office.

Cindy and I both commented on how clean every city/village is, spotless!
E bikes, they make touring easy as riding a scooter 😎

Tomorrow, we head for the Cinque Terre, the Italian Rivera ! Easy three hour drive.

We absolutely loved our time in Piedmont. The Airbnb was perfect and so nice to be away from the huge masses of tour group people. 99% Italian is what we heard, wonderful.

    Looks like a wonderful vacation filled with beauty everywhere. One question comes to mind when looking at these large colossal buildings is how do they heat them in the winter today and yesteryear. I would not want to sit in a church during the winter when it is 5 degrees outside.
